Philippine Festivals: Pahiyas Festival

The Pahiyas Festival is another annual festival in the Philippines. The Pahiyas festival is celebrated every May 15 in honor of Saint Isidro Labrador, known as Isidore the Farmer.
Saint Isidro Labrador is the patron saint of farmers.
The people of Lucban, celebrate this once a year festival by decorating their houses with fruits and vegetables. You'd see eggplants, rice, corn and many more hanging from the houses that have been decorated in a number of ways. The parish priest can then bless the harvest.
This is another reason to go to Quezon.

Tondol Beach of Anda, Pangasinan

Tondol beach is a 5-6 hour drive from Manila. It is not quite known yet even if you ask Filipinos.
Tondol beach is one of the nicest beaches in northern Luzon. You'll be fascinated by the powder white sands. Another fascinating fact about Tondol is that you can walk to some small islands just by walking because of the super low tide. You can basically sit in the middle of two islands. While there you could also see small starfishes that actually move. You could also try looking for small shellfishes that crawl through the sands.

The Manila Ocean Park a recently opened marine-themed park built near the Manila Bay.
The Manila Ocean Park features a number of exciting destinations. You could either choose to go the Oceanarium, The Jellies, The Marine Life Habitat and watch The Marine Life Show and The Musical Fountain Show.
The Oceanarium boasts numerous large and small marine life enclosed in large aquariums specially designed for you to view. Manta rays, sharks and very large fishes will leave you mezmerized.
The Jellies features tons of dancing jellyfishes that are illuminated by the creative lighting.
The Manila Ocean Park is truly a destination that should be on your list if you're traveling to Manila. You won't want to miss it specially if you have children.
