In the Philippines, the Christmas season starts on the 'ber'(September, October, November, December) months. It is a big occassion in the Philippines, the only Christian country in the south-east Asia.

Early mornings will smell of bibingka(flour and egg cakes) and puto bumbong(purple-colored pastry), Filipino delicacies that have been a traditional food bought by people attending the Misa de Gallo or Simbang Gabi.

Simbang Gabi or Misa de Gallo have done since the time of the Spaniard colonization. Filipinos would go to church at early in the morning starting December 16 until December 24.

Christmas is a fun season in the Philippines and we recommend people to visit the Philippines in these joyous times.
