The Pahiyas Festival is another annual festival in the Philippines. The Pahiyas festival is celebrated every May 15 in honor of Saint Isidro Labrador, known as Isidore the Farmer.
Saint Isidro Labrador is the patron saint of farmers.
The people of Lucban, celebrate this once a year festival by decorating their houses with fruits and vegetables. You'd see eggplants, rice, corn and many more hanging from the houses that have been decorated in a number of ways. The parish priest can then bless the harvest.
This is another reason to go to Quezon.
